Memorial Day Packing List

So it's Memorial Weekend and you're going away. If you're anything like me, you don't want to over pack for a simple 3-day weekend, but you want to make sure you have everything you need. Look no further! I've included a few items to help you make the best of your weekend with all the weekend's must have's. I've even threw in some luggage. Let's pack!

First thing's first, you want to make sure you have the right bag. Whether you're going with a roller suitcase or a weekend bag. I chose this Moschino Quilted Teddy Bear Travel Bag, which is a little under $1300, but it's a good investment, because of it's quilted pattern and faux leather and it's cute! Cute never goes out of style. If you want something less expensive, but just as cute, check out this Hayden-Harnett water resistant Nylon weekend bag for a little over $200. Waterproof anything is always a winner. It's properly sized for your weekend items and has plenty of compartments and space to organize your items as well. For the person who doesn't like to carry anything and would rather just roll your bag, you should check out this Delsey Lite Carry on expandable Luggage, it's only $150 but it's adorable, it's bright, and offers 4 compartments for easy organization when packing. Now that we've got the hard part out the way, let's get to our clothing. Memorial Weekend is all about beautiful weather, barbecues, beaches and parties. You should always pack a pair of jeans just in case it rains or the temperature drops. They're always good to have. It's a 3 day weekend so one should suffice. Make sure you have your tank tops and/or t-shirts to throw on with your shorts like these American Flag shorts by ETSY in observance of Memorial day. Your all purpose casual maxi dress for eating out, heading to the beach or you can just put it on as a easy, breezy outfit for the day. Don't forget about your black spaghetti strap dress, which is a staple! you can wear it through the day with a pair of converse, like the one's I included here, a flat sandal or with a sexy heel at night for a hot date or a hot party! Don't forget your small clutch for your money and ID. Last but not least, you must have your sunglasses, bronzer, beach towels, sun tan lotion and bathing suit. Two bathing suits should be fine, in case you want to switch it up and voila! We are all ready to go!!! I'll see you on the beach or at the nearest BBQ. Have a happy Memorial Day.
